An objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) is a modern type of examination often used in health sciences (e.g. midwifery, occupational therapy, orthoptics, optometry, medicine, physician assistants/associates, physical therapy, radiography, rehabilitation medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, chiropractic, paramedicine, podiatry, veterinary medicine, athletic training).
