Each plate consists of many cavities like depressions in which only small amount of reactants can be added at a time to carry out reactions. The number of wells on each plate vary from 12, 15 up to 24 wells and this allows multiple reactions to be performed at a time. The plates vary in their sizes, color and diameter and depth of each cavity. They are commonly found in white color as it allows easy observation of reaction changes and color changes. Porcelain spot plates are considered to be reusable, stronger, highly resistant to the actions of concentrated chemicals and also autoclavable. \n* Spot plate \n* PVC Spot plate: top view (large wells) \n* PVC Spot plate: top view (small wells) \n* PVC Spot plate: side view \n* PVC Spot plate: full view
