La dracma (en griego δραχμή, pl. δραχμές o δραχμαί hasta 1982) fue la moneda de curso legal en Grecia desde su aprobación el 8 de febrero de 1833 hasta que fue sustituida por el euro el 1 de enero de 2002. Su denominación proviene de la antigua dracma, moneda de plata usada en la antigua Grecia, el imperio romano y otras regiones de la antigüedad clásica. La dracma se dividía en 100 leptá (en griego λεπτά, sing. λεπτό).

Drachma (Greek: δραχμή Modern Greek: [ðraxˈmi], Ancient Greek: [drakʰmέː]; pl. drachmae or drachmas) was the currency used in Greece during several periods in its history: 1. \n* An ancient Greek currency unit issued by many Greek city states during a period of ten centuries, from the Archaic period throughout the Classical period, the Hellenistic period up to the Roman period under Greek Imperial Coinage. 2. \n* Three modern Greek currencies, the first introduced in 1832 and the last replaced by the euro in 2001 (at the rate of 340.751 drachma to the euro). The euro did not begin circulating until 2002 but the exchange rate was fixed on 19 June 2000, with legal introduction of the euro taking place in January 2002. It was also a small unit of weight.
