Cross Game (クロスゲーム Kurosu Gēmu) es un comic manga, del género comedia romántica o Romakome, ambientado en el béisbol creado por Mitsuru Adachi. Fue distribuido comercialmente por la editorial Shogakukan en la revista Weekly Shonen Sunday entre el 11 de mayo de 2005 y el 11 de febrero de 2010. Posteriormente fue compilado en 17 volúmenes o Tankōbon, publicándose el volumen final en abril de 2010, poco tiempo después de terminada la serie de anime basada en el mismo. Recibió el Premio de Manga Shōgakukan en la categoría manga Shōnen en 2009, y fue elogiada internacionalmente como un gran éxito. El manga fue adaptado a la televisión mediante una serie animada o anime, contando con un total de 50 episodios, y emitido por TV Tokyo entre el 5 de abril de 2009 y 28 de marzo de 2010. El primer episodio, basado en el argumento del primer volumen del manga, recibió grandes elogios, incluso fuera de Japón. Cross Game trata sobre la historia de Ko Kitamura y sus vecinas, las cuatro hermanas Tsukishima, Ichiyo, Wakaba, Aoba, y Momiji. Ko y Wakaba nacieron el mismo día en el mismo hospital lo que, agregado al hecho de que son vecinos, determina una relación muy cercana entre ambos. De hecho Wakaba trata a Ko como si fuera su novio, aunque nada queda oficialmente aclarado al respecto. Sin embargo Aoba, un año menor que ellos, odiaba a Ko porque sentía que "alejaba" a Wakaba de su lado. Después del fallecimiento de ésta en un campamento, Ko y Aoba lentamente mejoran su relación para poder cumplir el último sueño de Wakaba de verlos jugar juntos en el Campeonato de béisbol de las Escuelas Secundarias en el Koshien Stadium. El manga fue dividido en tres partes: \n* Primera parte: Corresponde al volumen uno del manga. Discurre en la época en la que los personajes principales van a la escuela primaria, y termina con el fallecimiento de Wakaba. \n* Segunda parte: Comienza cuatro años después, con Ko en el tercer año de secundaria (Junior School) y continúa hasta el verano de su tercer año en el Instituto (High School). \n* Tercera parte tres: Comienza en el cuarto año de instituto de Ko y finaliza con Ko y Aoba viajando juntos hacia Koshien.

Cross Game (クロスゲーム Kurosu Gēmu) is a romantic comedy baseball manga series by Mitsuru Adachi that was serialized by Shogakukan in Weekly Shōnen Sunday between May 11, 2005 (issue 22/23) and February 17, 2010 (issue 12). It is collected in 17 tankōbon volumes, with the final volume published in April 2010, shortly after the end of the anime series. It received the 54th Shogakukan Manga Award for shōnen manga in 2009, and has been praised internationally as quietly brilliant and a great success. The series was adapted as a 50-episode anime television series that aired on the TV Tokyo network from April 5, 2009 to March 28, 2010. The first episode of the anime, which covers the time frame of the first volume of the manga, received high praise, even outside Japan. Cross Game is the story of Ko Kitamura and the four neighboring Tsukishima sisters, Ichiyo, Wakaba, Aoba, and Momiji. Wakaba and Ko were born on the same day in the same hospital and are close enough that Wakaba treats Ko as her boyfriend, though nothing is officially declared, while Aoba, one year younger than them, hates how Ko is "taking" her sister away from her. After Wakaba dies, Ko and Aoba slowly grow closer as they strive to fulfill Wakaba's final dream of seeing them play in the high school baseball championship in Koshien Stadium. The manga is divided into multiple parts. Part One, which consists of volume one, is a prologue that takes place while the main characters are in elementary school, ending with Wakaba's death. Part Two starts four years later with Ko in his third year of junior high and continues into the summer of his third year of high school. Part Three continues the story without a break, ending with Ko and Aoba traveling to Koshien.
