Shinchi Station (新地駅 Shinchi-eki) was a railway station operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) in Shinchi. Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Since March 11, 2011, the operation of the station has been suspended due to the severe damage to the railway and station facilities caused by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. It is scheduled to reopen at a new location in December 2016.
